The Beauty of Holiday Designs

Circle Holiday Card

This was a really fun project to design and produce! This oversized (6 inch) circular holiday card was printed on medical grade blotter paper, which has a surprisingly beautiful texture.
We chose this paper to reference the pillowy snow of a Northeast Winter. The text, FA LA LA, was printed in a light teal, with the deep deboss on the letters to the right and left of the main text. We then diecut the shape on our second press for that final circular shape.

Letterpress printing shines when you wish to use thick, textured paper that feels good in the hand. The printing itself can go deep into the paper, like a footprint in sand.

Blossom Floral Wedding Invitation Set

The couple came to me for a custom wedding invitation that matched their venue and color scheme. After a few back and forth sessions, we came to a subtle flower border with bold, green type.
I loved working with this couple! The venue was so unique, and the peach florals matched the wedding decor perfectly.

Growers Inc Business Card

Growers Inc is an Agricultural Software Company working with big and small farms, using software technology to maximize their field production. That’s why I suggested we use seed paper for their business collateral. This handmade paper contains real wildflower seeds, and when planted, will compost and grow into a garden!

Letterpress printing is the absolute best print method to use when handmade paper is being showcased. Because Letterpress is a relief style print method, the raised letterforms and images can sink deeply into the crevices and bumps that are part of the natural beauty of handmade paper.

Silhouette Boat with Custom Monogram

Our client came to me with a photograph of their recreational boat, and wanted to create custom stationery with it. I first transformed the photograph into a silhouette vector image, and added the monogram on top, adding depth and personality to the notecard set.

Word Search Postcard

Letterpress printed Word Search postcard that can be customized by you, for your loved one! I loved designing these for all of the snail mail going out during the covid lockdown time. Key words like “miss you”, “snail mail”, “too far”, and “love” are hidden throughout the traditional word search game. I recommend using fun and glittery pens to highlight the word – or words- that you want to express!

Peace in the New Year

This New Years card began as a commissioned design, and made its way into our card line. Colors were chosen to reflect the hope and joy that comes with the beginning of a new calendar year, which was especially poignant in the dawn of 2021.
